Renée Shilmover, OT(c), is a registered Occupational Therapist practicing in Calgary, Alberta. Her passion is helping kids access play! She has been working as an Occupational Therapist for 25 years and has facilitated many families in participating in their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including self care, leisure (play) and productivity (school) skills.  Renée specializes in fine motor and coordination challenges. Kids OT Calgary is a private practice offering Occupational Therapy assessment, treatment and consultation in a Calgary SW practice facility, in the clients' home or school, and through Teletherapy. Renée is also a mom to three active boys and understands the challenges of parenting special needs and/or gifted children!

Do you have challenges engaging your child in fine motor activities? There might be a reason for why your child refuses or struggles when completing crafts, colouring or writing. I can help! I am currently accepting new referrals to assess children's fine motor skills.My clients benefit from one-on-one help in bringing their developmental skills up to speed.

PRINTING CAN BE FUN!

I have created several fun themed treatment sessions for my clients. Just to name a few: The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Dinosaurs, Star Wars, Superheroes, Lego, Captain Underpants, Pete The Cat, etc.. Kids work on building their hand skills and on improving their printing skills while having fun.
